A new hit song, Memories, inspired by minutiae of lovers’ relationships by artiste Tšitso Nkhooa is out.
Nkhooa affectionately known as WillowCat, says people enter into relationships with one another and date but never take what they have seriously until it is gone.
He says they only turn to see and get to know when it’s all gone that they had gold but lost it.
On this hit single Memories, Willowcat featured Jenny Kay.
Nkhooa said he is currently working on an album that is scheduled to be released in September.
Nkhooa made his first debut in the music industry back in 2014 with the track called “Never Loose” and the track called “Ke Mosotho”.
He has performed on the second annual tertiary night held at Manthabiseng National Convention Centre.
His recent escapades include a performance on the in-house-lockdown-party hosted on the love-Letter-platform.
Love-letter-platform is an online platform hosted on a Facebook giving artiste a direct link to audiences through social media during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nkhooa was born and raised in Quthing, he did his primary school at Villa Maria primary school and then proceeded to Moyeni high school.
He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in innovation and design at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology.
Nkhooa says he started being a rapper in 2014 while he was is grade 10.
Nkhooa said even though he was already in the music industry, it was not easy balancing music and pursuit for education.
