Two charged for conspiracy to commit murder

Two men on Monday this week appeared before the Maseru Magistrate Court charged with conspiracy to murder and charged with the purchase of an illegal firearm.
Khethang Ramabolu (35) and Tšoarelo Moiloa (36) were charged on two accounts: contravening Section 25 (1) read with 109 of Penal Code Act No 6 of 2010 (murder) and contravening Section 3(2) and 2(b) of Internal Security Act No 13 of 1966 as amended by Act No 4 of 1999 Section 8 (c).
The duo is said to have intentionally and unlawfully on the 8th March at Ha Mphiri public bar (Ha-Penapena) jointly agreed with a mission to pursue and intend to kill one ’Maseipati Letitia.
Moreover, Moiloa is also accused of purchasing and acquiring an illegal possession of a firearm.
The duo has been released on an M500 bail and M10, 000 surety.
They are set to appear in court on the 29th of March.
