Lim Kok Wing dies at 75

The Limkokwing University of Creative Technology has conveyed with deep sadness, the death of its founding president, Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing, who died at age of 75.

The university has however not disclosed Sri’s cause of death in its statement dated June 1.

In a statement, University said, “We are humbled by the loving condolences and support extended by so many, and ask for privacy as we mourn a man we are very proud of”.

The University’s statement said Wing was a visionary person who assisted in developing innovative education globally.

He is said to have empowered the developing world, including Lesotho as the university produces hundreds of industry-ready graduates every year.
