Lesotho international and Lioli football club striker Nkoto Masoabi signed with Libyan premier League club AsSwehly Sporting Club.
In an announcement, Lioli’s deputy communication and marketing manager Motlatsi James Mofokeng confirmed yesterday’s announcement in an interview with KDNews that Masoabi signed a two and half years contract with Asswehly that plays in the Libyan Premier League.
Lesotho Football Association’s President advocate Salemane Phafane yesterday and LeFA executive committee congratulated Masoabi for his move to Lybian Asswehly.
Phafane said Masoabi has been a good ambassador for Lesotho football throughout the years.
Masoabi was also congratulated by Lesotho senior national football team head coach Thabo Senong.
“We are obviously proud of the new development about Masoabi, it’s a positive step for his football career. He scores important goals for our national team, in my opinion, he is one of the best strikers in the COSAFA region,” Senong said.
