Kick4life FC appoints new director of football

Kick4life football club striker Lepekola Seetane has been appointed the director of football shortly after the departure of Chris Bullock who was the director of football at the club.

Seetane was announced a director of football after he served as the director of Academy since 2018.

He played for Kick4life senior team until 2019/20 when he retired as a football player.

Seetane who was born and raised at Ha Leqele, Mafikaneng within the Maseru City told KDNews he started his football career when playing football at a very young age while he was a player for his boyhood club black Sundowns.

Seetane said he always had the vision to play for a professional football club from a young age.

He told KDNews his family drove him to focus on an academic side of things so as to have something to rely on in case his football career ends as it is a very short-term career.

He told us that in his journey of furthering his football career he had a chance to go for trials in Columbus crew FC and Louisville city in the United States of America.

Seetane is a holder of a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and African Studies, Masters degree in digital media and communications.

He said he is also holding a USSF C license and had a chance to coach and manage various age groups in Louisville Kentucky in the united states of America.

He said his intention is to assist young people in various opportunities both in football and academic support.

He also urged young footballers out there to use their talents to open more doors for their future. “Use football as a vehicle towards prosperous future,” he said.
