After a long Covid-19 induced break, Vodacom Premier League on Wednesday, May 12 kicked off with Lioli Football Club bagging three points.

Hosted by Lifofane football club in Maputsoe, Lioli walloped its host amid being a visitor.

Its first goal in the match came from Swithbert Kum in the 24th minute of the game and the second goal was scored by Tumelo Makha in the dying minutes of the first half.

Mafa Moremoholo, Lioli defender, nearly gave the host a ray of hope to catch up when he scored an own goal against his goalkeeper handing Lifofane an easy goal on the 76th minute of the game.

An unfortunate turn of events was when the game ended with Lioli clutching to its two goals while Lifofane to much disappointment of its Maputsoe supporters had own one goal.
